Landsdown development and Glebe Collegiate

The Glebe Community Association has sent a notice to the Glebe Collegiate community reminding us that the public consultations on the City's proposal to redevelop Lansdowne Park begin Monday, September 28 and end on Tuesday, October 6.

At present, Glebe CI sports teams use the Dome at Lansdowne Park nearly every day for training and practices. We are not sure if any community access will be maintained under the new proposal to lease all of Lansdowne Park to private developers. It is important that Glebe parents attend the consultations and ask questions about this important issue for our school's physical education program.

There are two ways you can participate in city consultations about Lansdowne Park's future.

1. Open Houses (drop-in sessions where you can see boards, ask questions of staff, and fill out comment cards) will be held in various locations across the city from  6 p.m to 9 p.m. The dates and locations follow:
