OCDSB Parent Conference - Register Today!

Parents, guardians and caregivers – come learn with us.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board will be hosting its first ever, free Parent Conference on Saturday, January 16th at Sir Robert Borden High School from 9:00 a.m - 2:30 p.m.

The conference will include a keynote presentation by Dr. Peg Dawson, an expert who has worked with thousands of children who struggle at home and in school. We will be offering a diverse range of workshops with topics focusing on everything from helping your child succeed academically, to better understanding the new Health and Physical Education curriculum.

Choose which workshops interest you the most and register by January 6th. Visit our website to learn more and register now.

To make attending the conference easier for you - we will also provide free child care delivered by qualified and caring Early Childhood Educators. Your children will have a fun-filled day at Knoxdale Public School where child care services will be offered. The school is conveniently located at 170 Greenbank Road, less than a kilometre away from Sir Robert Borden High School where the parent conference is being held.  Child care is offered for children between the ages of 4-10. Please register children for the child care services by January 6th, so we can ensure there are adequate staff available to attend to your child’s needs. Registration for childcare is done through this link.

This conference is an initiative of the Parent Involvement Committee, with the support of the OCDSB, the Special Education Advisory Committee, and the Ministry of Education's Parents Reaching Out Grant.

Free parking is also available behind Sir Robert Borden High School.

Hope to see you there.
