Trusted Adults and Student Wellness poster - February 2017

Prior to our school-wide Mental Health Week (February 13 to 16) Glebe’s Mental Wellness Committee would like to invite you to an informational evening on student mental health and wellbeing Wednesday, February 8th from 6 to 8 pm in the lecture hall (room 216). Our guest speakers, from the Parent’s Lifeline of Eastern Ontario and CHEO’s Centre of Excellence, will address the most common mental health struggles with students, how to employ effective strategies to help students stay mentally healthy. We are keen to continue the conversation on student wellbeing and mental health at school as well as in the community. For youth, having a trusted adult to speak to in times of great stress is key in ensuring mental healthiness, and sometimes it can be a difficult subject to tackle.

We hope to see you next week, and we’re excited to learn with you!

Thanks,

Katie Clarke
